What is the difference between IHT205 and IHT400?
If the Gross Value of the Estate is less than a million dollars and most of the assets are going to a spouse or civil partner, you can use the form IHT 205. If the Gross Value of the Estate is more than $325,000 and no assets are being transferred to a surviving spouse or civil partner, you will need to use form IHT 400.
Do I need to fill in IHT421?
The form needs to be filled in completely before you can print it. If you don’t have all the information you need before you start filling in the form, you won’t be able to save it.
